  It definitely looks like a place were all the Trump supporters and some racists come to eat at. I don't think I could ever dine in without feeling like I'm being stared at, it would be a very uncomfortable place for me and my family.

  Best food I've had in awhile. Loved the atmosphere real true blue southern blue collar folks enjoying really good southern classic cuisine. Will definitely be coming back when I am in the area.

  Great food and comfortable diner.
  
  I have been eating at Ann & Bills for 18 years. When they were formerly located at Forest Parkway and Hale St., the diner would be packed out at lunch time. The new location they have been at now for a few years is refreshing and comfortable.
  
  I have always enjoyed the fresh produce they cook. They get their vegetables and fruit from the State Farmers Market nearby. I like eating healthy fresh food that hasn't been frozen.
  
  When they are not sold out, one of my favorite lunches is the fried chicken, and vegetables with the basket of fresh onions and cornbread.
  
  Everything is grandmother quality on the recipes if you like basic breakfast and meat and vegetable plates.
  
  For years I have seen a mixed crowd of African American and Caucasian people eating there. It is a blessing to eat there and see many African American and Caucasian Military Veterans who are retired and served our country. They are there for breakfast and lunch time. This restaurant is friendly to military veterans and I like eating at a place like that.
  
  I have seen a few waitresses come and go over the years. Thus far, I haven't had bad service or an unlucky day with any food mishaps. All the waitresses treat me good. When they approach I speak up and greet them first with a smile to initiate that I want a good experience from them and a good meal. Maybe that helps with be treating okay anytime I visit.
  
  On the breakfast ham and cheese omelets they keep it simple and I like it that way. Some restaurants add a little pancake mix to fluff up wimpy omelettes. At Ann & Bills the omelette is "straight up" eggs and ham and cheese... and just the right size when it comes to portion size. I work hard and it hits the spot, when I add in the two biscuits with butter and honey and that little bowl of grits.
